Unfortunately, specific details about the internship projects are currently password protected due to an NDA, but I'd be happy to chat more about this experience in a virtual/face to face conversation!
INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW: I was able to work with Amazon's Home Innovation Team (HIT) this summer as a UX design intern on Amazon Pets projects. During these 12 weeks, I worked on 2 projects, collaborated with technical and product managers, and iterated through the design process to alleviate customer frustrations in pet product purchases.
Project #1: Thank You Page Redesign
For this first project, I was responsible for redesigning a portion of the TYP customers see after purchasing products since too much content was below the fold of the screen, causing customers to miss content because of how they would have to scroll a lot. I explored various solutions on a condensed TYP redesign and facilitated meetings with design mentors and techical stakeholders to design and finalize a proposed solution.

Project #2: Pet Food Nutrition Section
This project was the bulk of my internship work, and I was tasked with designing an experience to help customers evaluate pet food when looking through pet food product detail pages. To kickstart this project, I conducted market research to create a competitive analysis, underwent design reviews on various brainstormed solutions, collaborated with other Amazon teams to ensure cross team alignment, and ran usability testing sessions to validate my proposed designs.
